Description:

The Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, Center for Soft Matter Science and Engineering in the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University, is seeking a full-time junior tenure-track faculty in all fields of soft matter/polymer science and engineering. Candidates with exceptional research potential, excellent academic ethics, and outstanding track record in areas such as polymer chemistry and physics, soft matter simulation, self-assembling and nanotechnology, soft materials for energy, biomaterials and biomedicine are welcome to apply. Applicants should be under age of 35 and hold a Ph.D. degree in chemistry, materials science, engineering or related areas. The winner, who will take a joint appointment in Department of Polymer Science and Engineering and Center for Soft Matter Science and Engineering, is expected to independently lead a group performingcutting edge research and rigorously participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
